As we head into winter in Melbourne questions about wet weather quickly arise. In Melbourne you never know what you are going to get and the old saying of ‘four seasons in one day’ often proves to be true.
Jumping Castles are in fact safe to use in most conditions. Our Blowers are suitable to be used in rain and all electrical equipment is covered for protection from the elements.
In wet weather your best bet of a jumping castle that will stay dry is the traditional style with three solid walls an open front and heavy-duty cover across the top. If left inflated these castles handle most rain extremely well. The newer style castles and combos have a shower cover however, due to the fact the walls are netting often become wet a lot quicker. This can be somewhat prevented with the use of tarps.
Obviously if there is torrential downpour or a storm safety has to come first and the Jumping Castle won’t be able to be used until the weather calms.
If you’re not sure about the weather get in touch with our friendly staff. We find cancelations are rare and kids often revel in excitement in spite of the conditions.
